Company History

JDM Associates was founded in 1975 by Jack McClellan. The JDM name was initiated to reflect the fact that although clients could expect personal attention from Mr. McClellan, the firm was intended from its beginning to be a composite of professionals more properly represented by a less personal corporate banner.

JDM Associates currently has computerized drafting and design capabilities of a sophistication comparable or greater to any other San Antonio firm.

As part of our operating philosophy, all staff are trained in the use of Computer Aided Drafting. Computers are further utilized for property analysis, cost estimating, specifications, space planning and materials inventory, performing analysis, and facilities management services.

JDM projects have ranged from new product lines for some of the nations largest homebuilders to television studios to entire new school campuses. Our attention to detail and willingness to get deeply involved in our clients technical requirements have caused other design firms to retain us as consultants and for project administration and project management.
